Juniata Veterinary Clinic – Policies

Client Code of Conduct: Pleasant View Veterinary Clinic, LLC seeks to continually provide a welcoming and safe environment which ensures trust and respect for all people and pets. We have a zero-tolerance policy for the following behavior(s):

Profanity, verbal abuse, malicious or harmful statements about others, or disrespect directed at a person or pet. This includes any form of harassment, discriminatory comments, intimidations, and/or threats.

In the event that your behavior is problematic or there is failure to comply with requests from our staff, we reserve the right to discontinue services immediately.

Safety: For your protection, and that of others, pets should be properly restrained by a leash or secure carrier upon arrival. Please NO retractable or bungee leashes.

Authorization/Payments: I hereby authorize the veterinarian to examine, prescribe for, and treat the pet(s) listed on the account. I assume responsibility for all charges incurred in the care of this animal.

I understand that payment is ALWAYS DUE IN FULL at the time of service. I recognize that financial concerns should be discussed PRIOR to exam and treatment. We accept cash, debit, credit cards, and checks. We also accept Care Credit & Scratchpay financing to help make the highest quality care accessible to all our patients.

Appointments: To allow for ample time for all patients, Pleasant View/Juniata Veterinary Clinic operates primarily by appointment. If you must cancel an appointment, we ask for 24 hour notice. For surgical appointments, we ask for a 48 hour cancellation notice. If it is after business hours, you may also leave a voicemail message to cancel your appointment. Giving us cancellation notifications allows the hospital to better utilize appointments for other patients in need of prompt veterinary care.

Failed Appointments: Deposits will be required to reschedule missed appointments without prior notification.

Late Appointments: If you arrive late for your scheduled appointment, rescheduling may be required.

Prescriptions: Pleasant View/Juniata Veterinary Clinic would be more than happy to fill your prescription medications. We kindly request 24 hour notice for needed prescription refills to avoid extended wait times.
