What to Expect
When you are looking for a veterinary care clinic you should be able to count on superior care and excellent service. We at Pleasant View and Juniata Veterinary Clinics have assembled an expert team of veterinary professionals to bring you the best possible healthcare for your pet. We have a state of the art veterinary facility which is clean, comfortable, and efficient. Call (717) 436-9790 to schedule an appointment and we will find a time that is convenient for you.
Once a year, you should take your pet in for a check-up. This will include a full physical exam, and may include teeth and gum cleaning if needed. Our veterinarians will check the health of your pet from head to tail, and you will be very happy you came to Pleasant View and Juniata Veterinary Clinics.
Please forward any medical history you have of your pet prior to your appointment. Our doctors would like to be prepared to discuss any previous history or concerns with you or to know what your pet may be in need of before your actual appointment. It’s best to keep a journal of your pet’s health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts. If you have something like that, share it with our team. If not, let us know everything that you think will be important. Our doctors will research your pet’s history to determine the best course of action on day of your appointment.
In some circumstances, our veterinarians will refer you to a specialist who has advanced expertise in areas such as internal medicine, neurological care, or eye care. We also offer advanced imaging diagnostics such as ultrasounds and dental radiographs. Visit our services page for more information on these services.
We ask that you arrive a few minutes early to your appointment if you are a new client, in order to get your new client paperwork filled out and any previous medical records entered into our system. You may also email us this information ahead of time at reception.pvvcjvc@gmail.com

Payment Options
1. Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. In order to maintain our ability to provide quality medical care, we do not bill.
2. We accept cash, check, debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express). All cards must be signed by the cardholder.
3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. We understand this and are able to make arrangements through the CareCredit program. It takes little time to complete an application. Once approved, CareCredit will allow you to break down your total balance into 6 monthly installments. You can apply at our hospital, or apply online at: www.CareCredit.com.
